The Conservative Events Political Calendar is intended to create a unified calendar for conservatives to participate in interesting and useful events in their State or region of a State.
All events are welcome from any person or organization that is politically conservative.
We welcome everyone's participation in posting conservative events and ask for you help in filling out the calendar, and letting people know about it.
So, what is conservative? That is a topic of disagreement. We intend to be as broad and open-minded as possible.
We recognize that various parts of the conservative movement may disagree with each other on many issues, concepts, and philosophies.
However, we reserve the right to remove any event posting that we do not believe is politically conservative.
We will NOT permit or tolerate any anti-semitic, or racist event or organization, any group or event based on white supremacy, or attacks on Jews or the Nation of Israel. Discrimination against women will not be permitted, although recognizing the inherent biolgoical differences is unavoidable.
In particular, we do not believe that various conspiracy theories masquerading as patriotic qualify as conservative. A conspiracy theory is characterized by (a) reliance upon "facts" that have been proven false, (b) reliance upon assumptions, speculation and guesswork instead of facts, (c) the use of "questions" challenging mainstream ideas in place of sound arguments and evidence (that is attempting to prove an alternative theory merely by asking questions about the mainstream theory), (d) attributing super-human abilities and powers to alleged conspirators, (e) irrational arguments.
Furhtermore, there are certain groups that masquerade as conservative in order to discredit conservativism, such as Lyndon LaRouche's organizations. LaRouche and his followers posture as patriotic or conservative for the purpose of attacking all conservative leaders and attempting to discredit conservatism.
